Volleyball
The objective of the St. Thomas Volleyball program is to foster a love for the game by teaching fundamental skills and basic rules in a fun, positive environment, while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship and personal development.
Ages
All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade St. Thomas Girls.
When
The IESA girls Volleyball Season runs from early December through March.
Where
Practices and home matches are held at St. Thomas School. Away matches take place across the Peoria area.
Practices
Each team typically practices 2-3 times per week (dependent on how many matches are scheduled in a given week).
Matches
The 5th and 6th Grade Teams typically play 15 to 20 matches per season. The 7th and 8th Grade Teams typically play 20 to 25 regular season matches per season and then participate in the IESA Class 1A Post Season.
Jerseys
Jerseys are provided by St. Thomas School and must be returned at the end of the season.
