Girls Basketball
All 5th - 8th grade girls will have an opportunity to participate in the St. Thomas girls basketball program, with emphasis placed on teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and development of fundamental skills. Fundamental skills are at the center of 5th and 6th grade teams while more competitive skills are introduced to 7th and 8th grade teams.
Ages
All 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Grade St. Thomas Girls.
When
The girl's basketball season runs from mid September through early December.
Where
Practices and home games are held at St. Thomas School. Away games take place across the Peoria area.
Practices
Each team typically practices 2-3 times per week (dependent on how many games are scheduled in a given week).
Games
The 5th and 6th grade teams typically play 15 to 20 games per season. The 7th and 8th Grade Teams typically play 20 to 25 regular season games per season.
Uniforms
Uniforms are provided by St. Thomas School and must be returned at the end of the season.
