Softball
St. Thomas participates in a softball co-op with St. Philomena, St. Jude, Morton Blessed Sacrament, St. Marys of Kickapoo and St. Vincent de Paul. Emphasis is placed on developing fundamental baseball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and fostering a love of the game.
Ages
All 7th and 8th grade girls. If needed for team numbers, 6th grade girls may be invited to participate.
When
The IESA Girls Softball Season begins in late July and runs through September.
Where
Practices and games take place throughout the Peoria area.
Practices
The team practice 2-3 times per weeks depending on the number of games that week.
Games
The softball team normally play 10 - 15 games each season.
Jerseys
Team jersey is provided by the program. Parents are responsible for providing all other necessary equipment.
