Baseball
St. Thomas participates in a co-op with St. Jude, St. Philomena and St. Marys of Kickapoo for the Fire Baseball team. Emphasis is placed on developing fundamental baseball skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and fostering a love of the game.
Ages
All 7th and 8th grade boys. If needed for team numbers, 6th grade boys may be invited to participate.
When
The IESA Boys Baseball Season runs from early August through early September. IESA postseason continues through the end of September.
Games
The baseball team typically plays 10 to 15 games per season and then participates in the IESA Class Post Season.
Practices
The team typically practices 2-3 times per week (dependent on how many games are scheduled in a given week).
Uniforms
Parents purchase their students' uniform for the season.
