Comets Streak Past Panthers

The St. Thomas boys basketball teams put on a dominant display at home, sweeping the Pleasant Hill Panthers in convincing fashion on Tuesday night.

The evening opened with the 7th grade Comets setting the tone, earning a convincing 49–12 victory. St. Thomas applied steady defensive pressure and shared the ball well offensively, building an early lead and maintaining control throughout the contest.

The 8th grade followed with an equally dominant performance in the nightcap, rolling to a 52–14 win. Fueled by relentless defense and balanced scoring, the Comets pulled away quickly and never looked back.

St. Thomas will be back at home for its next game on Thursday, January 15th, which will also serve as 8th Grade Night, when the Comets host St. Mary’s of Kickapoo.
